DJ Fresh has revealed his aspirations to work with Linkin Park for his forthcoming third album.
The ‘Louder’ producer had previously been talking to the American band about a collaboration, however this didn’t go to plan as frontman Chester Bennington became a father.
"We were talking about Linkin Park, about a collaboration, but that didn't happen because Chester just had babies. So it was difficult timings-wise," he said.
Yet DJ Fresh has speculated that there will be a collaboration, "Possibly. We're just doing a deal at the moment with one of the labels in the States so watch this space," he said.
DJ Fresh, real name Dan Stein, has also spoken about other artists he will be definitely collaborating with on his upcoming album, which is a move away from his usual drum and bass.
"My next album is an expansion of my song-writing side and there are some interesting collaborations with artists that I've been excited about working with for ages like Juliette Lewis, Rizzle Kicks, Professor Green and The Fray. It's the best project I've done so far," he said.
DJ Fresh has recently released the track ‘The Power’ a club friendly hit with Dizzee Rascal.
