Globally renowned scratch extraordinaire, DJ Yoda, is set to headline a free gig in Glasgow courtesy of leading streetwear brand, Gio-Goi.
As part of the Christmas celebrations at the Gio-Goi store on Buchanan Street, music and fashion fans in Glasgow are being given chance to get their hands on free tickets to catch the king of cut-and-paste mixing in action at Sub Club on Thursday December 8th 2011.
One of Britain's most admired and original club DJs, DJ Yoda has evolved in the past ten years using his turntable skills and diverse influences as varied as Hip-hop, Funk, B-more, Kuduro, Reggae, Drum 'n' Bass and even Big Band Swing and Country & Western.
An audio-visual pioneer, DJ Yoda uses cutting edge technology that he has been instrumental in developing, to scratch and mix visuals on top of his DJ sets in clubs and festivals. And now for an intimate Glasgow crowd.
The vinyl virtuoso will be joined by two local favourites, Boom Monk Ben and Mr Mafro.
Worn by rock royalty, Gio-Goi is the fashion brand that key figureheads in music actively seek out. Born out of the Manchester Hacienda club scene in the early 90s, Gio-Goi is now worn by the likes of Plan B and Deadmau5.
