Duke Special re-releases album

Hailed by Q as one of the best albums of 2006, Duke Special's dazzling 'Songs From The Deep Forest' is re-released as a special edition package on V2 Records, October 1st. Loaded with all 12 original songs – including the stunning 'Freewheel' & 'Last Night I Nearly Died' – it also boasts the new single 'Our Love Goes Deeper Than This' (featuring Neil Hannon and The Magic Numbers' Romeo Stodart), plus a bonus CD of Duke's epic performance with Ireland's Ulster Philharmonic Orchestra.

Since it's original release, 'Songs From The Deep Forest' has won critical acclaim across the board, with 4-star reviews from Metro & The Independent. Now, after a triumphant year that included a nomination for the Choice Music Award – Ireland's equivalent of the Mercury's – plus performances for Later with Jools Holland & Glastonbury festival, it continues to assert Duke as one of the UK's premiers artists.

An accomplished performer, Duke has toured with a host of artists including Rufus Wainwright and Van Morrison – one of Duke's biggest influences. Later this year he will be special guest to Crowded House on their UK stadium tour.
