Hailing from Belfast with a sound that is self-confessed "hobo-chic", Duke Special is once heard, never forgotten. Following four stellar live dates in London recently, the acclaimed singer/songwriter releases the lusciously eccentric new single 'Last Night I Nearly Died (But I Woke Up Just In Time) on V2, October 9th.
Taken from the forthcoming album 'Songs From The Deep Forest', which is released on October 23rd. The 10" single features an exclusive interpretation of Razorlight's 'Stumble and Fall', the CD contains two new tracks – 'Glimmer Girl' and 'From Clare To Here', plus the 1868 version of 'Last Night I Nearly Died', while the 7" offers the B-side 'Quiet Revolutionaries'.
Duke is special guest to the Divine Comedy on their forthcoming tour and will also play two dates with The Beautiful South on Sep 27th and 28th.
