On Friday night, an incredible group of musicians and artists came together to salute the late Hubert Sumlin at Harlem's Apollo Theater.
The night was filled with performances by such luminaries as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Vaughan, Elvis Costello, Keith Richards, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Warren Haynes, Buddy Guy, Billy Gibbons, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and Robert Randolph, but it also included a truly amazing house band for the night with Billy Flynn, Eddie Taylor Jr. and Danny Kortchmer on guitar, Willie Weeks and Larry "the Mole" Taylor on bass, Barrelhouse Chuck Goering and Ivan Neville on keyboards, Kim Wilson on harp and Jimmy Lee Keltner and Steve Jordan on drums.
The evening helped raise funds for the Jazz Foundation of America.
