Following an incredible, packed-out show in Paris last week alongside French television and radio appearances, Eugene McGuinness has returned to the UK and announced plans for a mini tour this November, ending at London's prestigious 100 Club. Full tour details can be found below.
Released in August, Eugene's album 'The Invitation to the Voyage' was preceded by the fast-paced, jerky brilliance of singles 'Lion' and 'Shotgun'. Blending his strong and unique lyricism with powerful pop melodies, 'The Invitation…' saw McGuinness take his song writing up another notch without losing grasp of what makes him a distinctive artist: his contemporary, surreal and fantastical view of modern life.
Live, the album evolves into something both melodic and chaotic. Eugene and his band allow 'The Invitation to the Voyage' to take on a different persona, opening doors to a side of the album the casual listener may initially miss.
