Everything Everything have revealed that this summer they will be locked in the studio recording their 'frenetic' new album.
When asked if the band had any festival plans for summer, he responded: "No we did a fair few last summer, we're not doing anything this summer we're just writing another album and recording it.
"We wanted to make a kind of quicker, harder, more frenetic record than the last one, because although we felt we wanted to make a much more considered mature album after our kind of ADD first record, we thought okay we're all kind of sick of that and we wanted to do something with a little more kind of maturity. So we made that record and we're kind of sick of that as well I suppose."
He continued: "We're in danger of doing both albums a disservice by having a kind of allergic reaction to them that then spurs you on to do something new. But then we are, we always want to do something different than what's been done before and we want it to be more quixotic again I guess."
