Overview
The Flaming Lips have been forced to cancel their appearance at this year's SunFest, because multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd has been hospitalised.
Their Beale Street Music Festival (Memphis, Tenn.) event this Saturday has also been shelved.
The Flaming Lips' publicist told Spinner that Drozd is "expected to make a full recovery." He wouldn't elaborate on the multi-instrumentalist's condition beyond that but did reiterate that, at this time, only two gigs have been cancelled.
