Hip hop golden boy Flo Rida releases his new single 'Sugar' through Atlantic Records on May 18th. 'Sugar' is the second single to be taken from Flo's sophomore long-player - R.O.OT.S., out now.
'Sugar' follows the unprecedented # 1 smash success of 'Right Round' (which has now racked up a massive 200K UK sales, and broken US records by becoming the fastest million-selling digital track in history – clocking in at 2 million and counting) - borrowing from the Eiffel 65 hit 'Blue Da Ba Dee', Flo's legendary ear for a criminally danceable sample is once again apparent.
Also featuring the vocal talents of New York's freshest R 'n' B singer Wynter Gordon, 'Sugar' looks set to maintain Flo's impressive record for smash hit singles. The track has already been added to the Galaxy Network playlist.
Since gatecrashing charts and clubs worldwide last year with the mammoth success of 'Low' (Warner Music's third best-selling single of 2008), Flo Rida's career has snowballed with death-defying momentum and seen him win a formidable collection of accolades - including two Grammy nominations for the 4x RIAA platinum-certified 'Low', a Peoples Choice Award for 'Favourite Hip Hop Song', and an MTV Africa Music Award for MTV Base Request, which honoured the song as the year's most requested video on the continent.
His debut LP MAIL ON SUNDAY was UK silver-certified, and The Sun declare that second album R.O.OT.S. sees Flo's "rapid-fire raps propel [him] towards hip-hop superstardom".
