Continuing to successfully infiltrate the mainstream, rising star Frank Turner will release his new single 'Poetry Of The Deed' on 16th November 2009 through Xtra Mile Recordings/Epitaph Records.
'Poetry…' is the second single to be taken from the chart-bothering album of the same name, released back in September. An anti-folk manifesto, it's a fast-paced statement of intent with a rousing message and catchy refrain that further establishes Frank as one of the most inspiring and lyrically gifted songwriters of his generation. Previous single 'The Road' reached the dizzying heights of B-list at Radio 1, B-list at 6Music, B-list at Absolute and daytime playlist at XFM with sessions confirmed for all four stations.
The release of the single coincides with the announcement of new dates for Spring 2010. These are the largest venues that Frank has headlined to date and include a show at London 's legendary Roundhouse venue in Camden .

It's been a busy summer for Frank, playing a plethora of summer festivals including packed out Radio 1/ NME tents at Reading and Leeds Festival and cracking the Top 40 album charts for the first time with the critically applauded and commercially successful 'Poetry Of The Deed'. Having just supported buddies The Gaslight Anthem in America and Canada, Frank returns to the UK in October to play his full-band headline tour –many of the dates are now sold out - before heading off to Europe in November to tour there for the first time with his full band.
As well as all that, on 19th December, Frank and friends will be playing a very special night of festive fun and Christmas cheer at London's beautiful Union Chapel in Islington. He will be presenting a one-off gig of music and celebration; hand-picking fellow musicians to be part of the night, the line-up of rising stars, old friends and special guests will join him in a festive feast of fantastic folk/punk and acoustic music. Tickets for this sold out on day of general release.
