This September, renowned roaming anti-folk hero FRANK TURNER sets off on the UK Softcore Tour 2K7 joined by a veritable who's who of ex-hardcore stalwarts turned solo artists in support.
As 'hardcore singers gone folk' seems to be the current trend these guys (who all used to scream for a living) decided to get out on the road together to prove that they thought of it first. The line up features the Sacramento legend that is Jonah Matranga (Far, Gratitude, Onelinedrawing); fellow Sacramento resident Jacob Golden (Birthday) and Boston's Joshua English (Six Going On Seven), all playing solo shows.
An exclusive CD featuring acoustic hardcore punk covers by each performer will also be on sale throughout the tour. From Bad Brains to Black Flag, this gem won't be available anywhere else!

Also Jonah Matranga releases his highly anticipated, stunning album 'And' on September 10th. With beautiful, intricate songs, interesting lyrics and great choruses; it is, no doubt his most cohesive album to date.
As well as all that Joshua English's album 'Trouble None' will be licensed through Xtra Mile from Welcome Home Records in the States, the same label that put out some of Frank's music in the USA earlier this year. More details on that to come.
Before all that though Frank Turner will play a number of festivals this summer, notably Truck Fest 21st July, Secret Garden 28th July and Reading and Leeds (Carling Stage) 24th & 25th August.
