Former Million Dead frontman, Frank Turner, celebrates the release of his new double album, 'Love Ire and Song/the First Three Years', with a free show and signing session at FOPP's Earlham Street store in London's Covent Garden, on Tuesday 27th January 2009.
Showtime starts at 6.00 pm, after which Frank will remain in the store to meet fans and sign copies of the new album which is released through the Xtra Mile label on Monday 26th January 2009.
Since the demise of his former punk/post hardcore band Million Dead, Frank has toured the UK extensively, and has completed several tours of the USA and Central and Eastern Europe. The Evening Standard commented on his recent Astoria gig, "Frank Turner was much more fun than one man and an acoustic guitar have any right to be. Far more Joe Strummer than James Blunt...". The new release contains over 30 songs across the two CDs.
