The 'Woman On A Mission' singer had a golden opportunity to tell rocker Jared she had a crush on him, but chickened out at the last minute.
Gabriella – who played on the same bill as Kings of Leon at last week's Virgin V Festival - said: "I fancied the bassist out of the Kings of Leon, and we were both on at the same festival. I went up to him and said, 'Hi!' but then I got too scared, so I just ran away. It was kinda silly of me really. That was my chance!"
However, Gabriella soon got over her crush when she caught Jared checking out his own reflection on his phone.
The 18-year-old pop beauty was also stunned when she discovered the bassist has a mirror on stage.
She added to BANG Showbiz: "I've gone off him anyway, he's so vain. I saw him looking at his reflection in his phone. Then when he's on stage he has a mirror in his bass amp and he was checking himself in that.
"I mean I don't even have anything like that - and I'm a girl!"
Gabriella may have a penchant for rockers, but she is less keen on the "weird" heavy metal fans who have started to go to her shows to see her perform her trademark cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love'.
She added: "I do a cover of a 'Whole Lotta Love' when I perform, and after I did that at one festival I had these metalhead guys following me around for my tour, it was kinda weird, they just waited for that song to come on and went for it."
Gabriella has opened nominations for the vinspired National Awards to celebrate and recognise young volunteers for the inspirational work they do. For more information or to nominate someone visit www.vinspired.com
