Gavin Rossdale has reportedly moved into a bachelor pad.
The 49-year-old Bush frontman and 45-year-old wife Gwen Stefani split in August, with the No Doubt singer citing "irreconcilable differences" as she filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage.
Now Gavin is said to have taken the next step in embracing his new single status, by swapping his family home for a bachelor pad.
According to Us Weekly, Gavin has moved into a $6.5 million house in the Bel-Air district of Los Angeles.
The rocker has apparently been popping into local design shops such as Cassina, Diva Group, Ligne Roset, and Roche Bobois and is enjoying the freedom to decorate his new abode however he likes.
"He's picked out a lot of stuff and is enjoying the decorating process," the source told Us Weekly. "He carries around a notebook and takes pictures of the stuff he likes."
Despite Gavin's new living quarters, the house is still pretty local. He and Gwen are parents to Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and 18-month-old Apollo together, and both felt it important that the children had the option of going to either parent's house very easily.
"The boys are splitting their time between Gwen's and Gavin's new house," another source told Us. "Gavin's new house is close to their school and about 20 minutes from Gwen's."
Gavin is also the father of model Daisy Lowe, 26, after a brief relationship with her mother Pearl.
Following rumours that Gavin was unfaithful during their marriage, Gwen is said to have decided not to give things another go.
However, he is apparently more keen to win back his estranged spouse.
"Gwen is not being reciprocal in the attempts to get back together with Gavin and it is very one-sided," a source told RadarOnline.com
"She says that 'he should really stop wasting his time already' because they are not getting back together."
