Ray Parker JR's iconic Ghostbusters theme tune has been added to the already extensive release list for Record Store Day 2014. We want this. Bad.
It's been a year of memorial for the Ghostbusters franchise, following the passing of Harold Ramis who played Egon Spengler in the classic movies. What better way to pay tribute than get your hands on the infamous Ghostbusters theme tune, sung by Ray Parker Jr. The vinyl also comes printed on glow in the dark vinyl, just like it was made by ectoplasm or some other spooky substance.
Record Store Day will take place on the April 19 with 608 highly exclusive releases lined up for music fans to lay the greedy hands on. This year Public Enemy's Chuck D. is the ambassador for the day, calling it a celebration of the "past, present and future".
