Ghostbusters is to be re-released next month.
A digitally enhanced version of the 1984 movie will hit cinemas worldwide in time for Halloween.
Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver starred in the comedy, and was directed by Ivan Reitman.
Grossing $290 million on its original release, Ghostbuster spawned a sequel in 1989, as well as a cartoon series, The Real Ghostbusters.
After rumours and resistance - that is ongoing - from Bill Murray, Sony hope to start work on a third installment next year, with Dan Ackroyd having completed a script.
The film was also nominated for two Oscars - 'Best Visual Effects' and 'Original Song' for Ray Parker Jr's classic Ghostbusters theme song.
