Gnarls Barkley throws together the so-hot-he's-practically-on-fire producer and multi-instrumentalist Danger Mouse (projects in 2008 already include The Black Keys, Shortwave Set and Martina Topley-Bird) and one of the creators of hip-hop's Dirty South movement, rapper/singer Cee-Lo from Goodie Mob.
Quart is thrilled to announce the addition of the band to the main stage line-up for the first day of the festival.
Taking place from July 2nd to 5th in Kristiansand on the south coast, the longest-running and still the best music festival in Norway, Quart is yet again bringing the world's finest artists to the city event.
Across two albums (and one globe-straddling single 'Crazy'), Gnarls Barkley churn funk, rap, soul, dance and rock into an almost indescribably eclectic, genre-defying brew. They will join Kings of Leon, The Streets, Kate Nash, Justice Live, Digitalism, Kool Keith, Friendly Fires, Battles, Parts & Labor, Maria Due, Spank Rock and Cobblestone Jazz for the first day of Quart 2008.
