Overview
Goo Goo Dolls are returning to the UK in July for a headline tour as well as making an appearance at the O2 Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park.
The band will also be releasing a brand new single through iTunes on 7th July 2008.
It has just been announced that the band's vocalist John Rzeznik will be the recipient of the Hal David Starlight Awards at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards in June this year. Rzeznik joins the prestigious company of Rob Thomas, Alicia Keys, John Mayer and John Legend as past recipients of the award.
Commenting on the award to Rzeznik, Hal David said, "John Rzeznik is well-deserving of the Starlight Award, not only shining as an outstanding, talented songwriter, but one with a unique vision. We are pleased to honour him with this prestigious award."
