Good Shoes release 'Small Town Girl'

Like anything in this world, it's hard to tell what's just around the corner. A sentiment summed up beautifully by the indie-pop genius that is Good Shoes' 'Small Town Girl' released on November 26 th on Brille Records.

Originally released as a super limited edition 7" on the groundbreaking Young & Lost label, 'Small Town Girl' now receives a long awaited full release, perfectly punctuating a massively impressive year for the four piece from Morden.

The song tells the story of a small town girl who came from humble beginnings to do oh so well, she used to go to Raynes Park High School, but now she lives in Hollywood up in those hills. Rumours persist that the girl in question could be a certain Keira Knightley who Rhys went to school with…

Good Shoes prepare to hit the road in November for a full headline tour of the UK, including a homecoming gig at London Astoria.

This side of Christmas they also support no less than two of the UK's biggest crossover bands - Maximo Park on their UK arena tour this month (including two nights at the Brixton Academy), and the Kaiser Chiefs towards the end of the year. Beyond 2007, plans remain quite rightly ambitious for Good Shoes with further tour and release plans to be announced.
