Fans of Good Shoes – the band who deliver raw and heartfelt pop records commenting on youth and the world at large - now have the chance to appear on the artwork for the forthcoming single 'The Photos On My Wall' due for release on January 1st 2007 on Brille.
The philosophy is simple - take a photograph of yourself throwing some serious and not-so-serious shapes to the sounds of the 'Shoes and email / text them to the email address / number below. All entries will then be compiled onto the minisite www.thephotosonmywall.com with the winners also becoming a part of Good Shoes history on the sleeve of the new single.
'The Photos On My Wall' is a brand new track from Good Shoes recent album sessions in Sweden with the production team Tore Johansson and Per Sunding. Taking them into the realms of classic British bands like The Cure, their sound has been finely honed after a year of touring and the release of two classic singles on Brille 'All In My Head' and 'We Are Not The Same'. Pushing to one side the jerky, intense strut of those for a moment and discovering the benefit of allowing their songs more room to shine has brought a new dimension to the band. The track will be previewed on a highly limited four track 7" album sampler in November before the full single releases on New Year's Day.
