Graham Nash turned 70 today.
British born Nash kicked off his career in the 60s when he formed the band The Hollies with Allan Clarke. Nash wrote and sang 'Just One Look' with The Hollies in 1964. It was a hit the following decade for Linda Ronstadt.
Nash was lead singer on other Hollies hits 'On A Carousel' and 'Carrie Ann.
In 1966, he met David Crosby and Stephen Stills and in 1968 left The Hollies to form Crosby, Stills & Nash who later recruited Neil Young and became Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
Nash's CSN hits include 'Teach Your Children', 'Just A Song Before I Go', Marrakesh Express' and 'Wasted On The Way'.
As a solo artist, Graham Nash also had hits in the 70s with 'Military Madness' and 'Chicago'.
In 2010, Graham was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Hollies. In the UK, he has been honoured with the OBE.
