Green Day have been announced as headliners at this year's Oxegen Festival.
California's punk megastars join Foo Fighters at the Irish festival, which takes place over the weekend of July 10-11 at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas.
The addition of Green Day gives the festival identical headliners to Scotland's T In The Park, which takes place the same weekend.
It is also the latest in an astonishing series of mega-gigs for the band, who revitalised their career with last year's 'American Idiot' album.
They stole the show at last year's Carling Weekend Reading and Leeds Festivals, and play two shows at Milton Keynes Bowl on June 18&19 â€" the same weekend as U2's double-header at London's Twickenham Stadium.
Also appearing at Oxegen this year are Audioslave, The Streets, Prodigy, Keane, The Beautiful South, Razorlight , Ian Brown, James Brown and Erick Morillo.
