Green Day's follow up to 2004's juggernaut of a record 'American Idiot' is set to be conceived early next year.
The standard nine month pregnancy will apply, so don't expect a record from the band until the second half of next year, but they will move into the studio to begin working on the reported 45 songs they have ready.
As of yet there is no title or release date, but the band are said to be moving away from 'American Idiot' themes.
Musicnews.com reports that the band will also change their website soon to a generic Green Day theme.
'American Idiot' is one of the biggest selling albums of the last ten years and came a decade after their first enormous success 'Dookie'. The albums between showed little promise of a comeback like they achieved.
