Man of the Moment, singer Gregory Porter, claimed his second Jazz FM award winning International Jazz Artist Of The Year, seeing off stiff competition from nominees including: Antonio Sanchez and fusion-band Snarky Puppy.
Gregory who also won a Jazz FM award for best Live UK Show Of The Year in 2013 stated: "Thank you Jazz FM for honouring me with the award of International Jazz Artist of the Year, it's been an incredible journey! You're very much responsible for my success in the UK and around the world. So many places I go, they tell me "I heard you on Jazz FM" so thank you, thank you, thank you."
Gregory Porter treated Disclosure fans to a surprise guest performance during their set at Wildlife Festival this weekend. Gregory took to the stage to perform their critically acclaimed collaborative single 'Holding On', in front of a packed crowd of music fans at the new festival held in Brighton.
The Laurence brothers recently confirmed that they wrote 'Holding On' with Gregory using a unique creative process, stating: "We're both from totally different worlds… And when we came to write the song it was a really interesting process… It was a totally different song - half the speed, half the tempo, really, really slow like a ballad. Then me and Guy essentially remixed our own song.**"
