Gym Class Heroes new single

Gym Class Heroes are releasing the single 'Cupid's Chokehold' through Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen in the UK on February 12th to coincide with a full UK headline tour. The song is lifted from the new version of their album 'As Cruel As School Children', which hits the shops in January.

Rightly recognized as true pioneers of live hip-hop, the Geneva, NY-based band Gym Class Heroes has won popular and critical acclaim for kicking out genre-busting jams that seamlessly meld rap, rock, R&B, and anything else that happens to strike the musically voracious outfit's fancy. Frontman Travis McCoy states "The whole fun element of hip-hop has disappeared. Everybody takes themselves so seriously, it's become a fashion show more or less. We want the vibe to be as fun as possible."

Cupid's Chokehold was initially featured on Gym Class Heroes' Papercut Chronicles EP, and features Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy. The track tells a story of the eternal quest for true love.
