This time, there's a whole lot of snogging going on.
Sure, we've seen it before in the "Harry Potter" franchise, Daniel Radcliffe or Emma Watson reeling in one of their co-stars for a smooch. Last year's "Half-Blood Prince," for instance, was sort of the series' romantic coming-of-age tale, with the Hogwarts crew often themselves puckering up first and asking questions later.
The first part of "Deathly Hallows," though, finds Radcliffe and Watson coming together for what might be the most spit-swapping "Potter" kiss of all.
"It is full-on," Watson admitted to MTV News. "Actually, I forgot how full-on it was until I saw the movie, and I was like, 'Blimey, where did that come from?' It was really full-on."
The two have known each for a decade, essentially growing up together and forming something of a sibling relationship. On "Deathly Hallows," they not only faced the prospect of sucking face, but doing it while largely in the nude.
"It was only the day before that they said, 'Oh, by the way, we hope it's all right, but we want you to be topless, and we're going to cover you in silver paint,' " Watson laughed. "It was awkward enough as it was without the silver paint and the strapless bra, but whatever. It works. It looks good for the story."
This being a rather snog-heavy flick, Watson's kiss with Radcliffe wasn't her only bit of onscreen hanky-panky. She also had to kiss co-star Rupert Grint. That one, too, proved to be just a bit awkward.
"I ended up pouncing on Rupert," she told us last year. "I was so desperate to get it over. After the first take, he was like, 'Whoa, there! Where did that come from?' I was like, 'Sorry!' "
Said Grint: "It took me by surprise."
