Rupert Grint has thanked the fans who attended the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 world premiere.
Tens of thousands of Potter fanatics packed out London's Trafalgar Square and surrounding streets to get a glimpse of their heroes, many of whom camped for days in less then clement weather.
Speaking at the premiere, Grint said: "I had no expectations, really. I never would have imagined we'd be here 10 years down the line with all these people.
"It's kind of crazy, really, when you think about it like that. It's just kind of grown from the first film."
He added: "It's so nice to see all the support and excitement around it still."
Grint has played Ron Weasley, Harry Potter's best friend, through eight films and ten years.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released on July 15.
