There were no suspicious circumstances to the death of rapper Heavy D. He died of natural causes from a blood clot.
The Los Angeles Coroner's Officer has released an official report into the death of Dwight Arrington Myers (aka Heavy D) on November 8.
They found that the cause of death was a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot) in one of his legs.
Myers also suffered from heart disease. The initial reports suggested that he may have died from a heart attack.
Heavy D released five studio albums but hadn't release a new album since 1994. His biggest hit was the global smash "Now That We Found Love' in 1991.
He also performed on the 1991 Michael Jackson hit 'Jam' and has also recorded with Janet Jackson and Notorious B.I.G.
Heavy D was also sometimes an actor. He was in the Academy Award winning movie The Cider House Rules and recently in Tower Heist. He has also been in 'Law & Order: SVU' and 'Boston Public.
