Converse brings together three British acts for their askance marketing exercise.
Deadpan electro stars Hot Chip, Bernard Sumner of Joy Division and New Order, and new UK act Hot City have put together a track for the brand, titled 'I Didn't Know What Love Was'.
The song can be downloaded from Converse's UK blog from tomorrow http://www.converseblog.com/uk/music/
The freebie will be a follow-up to the Converse-concocted 'All Summer' collaboration between Kid Cudi, Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino and Vampire Weekend's Rostram Batmanglij.
That itself was a follow-up to the 2008 effort 'My Drive Thru', featuring Santogold, Julian Casablancas of The Strokes and Pharrell Williams.
There's already another UK collaboration tune planned for release next January, with Blur's Graham Coxon, Paloma Faith, and ex-Coral guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones.
