Ian Brown has announced that he is sponsoring London football team Chiswick Homefields FC for the 2005/2006 season.
Pledging his support of grass roots football, the singer has got behind the team, who play in Division One of the London Commercial Division.
According to the star's official website ianbrown.co.uk, CHFC have been promoted on six consecutive seasons from their formation and are about to start their first season in the league top division.
The team will be wearing a new kit emblazoned with ‘IB â€" The Greatest' to promote Brown's forthcoming Best Of compilation.
