With a new album set for a September release, and his previously announced 22 dates in September and October completely sold out, Ian Brown has just announced dates for November and December including two Brixton Academy shows and a massive homecoming at the legendary Manchester Central (formerly G-MEX) venue….

Brown's 5th studio album, the follow-up to 2004's Solarized, recorded at London's RAK studios with Ex Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Big Arm's and Happy Mondays' Paul Ryder. New tracks in the works include Goodbye to the Badlands and Some Folks Are Hollow.

The mighty Mancunian recently performed a short set at this year's Manchester Versus Cancer event at MEN Arena. Songs included Ian Brown classics F.E.A.R., Golden Gaze, Dolphins Were Monkeys and two more new songs – On Track and Goodbye To The Broken. The finale of the show was a storming rendition of I Am the Resurrection with Brown joined on stage by Mani and Andy Rourke on bass.
