Rapper Iggy Azalea is refusing to let her troubled personal life derail her music career after releasing the new video for Team.
The Australian star's relationship with her fiance, basketball player Nick Young, is under the spotlight after he was caught on camera appearing to confess to cheating on Iggy with a teenager last summer (15).
The footage was recorded in December (15) by Nick's Los Angeles Lakers teammate, D'Angelo Russell, and leaked online this week (begs28Mar16), prompting Iggy to thank the rookie for outing her fiance's infidelity.
"Hmmm I see D'Angelo Russell is trending...," she tweeted on Wednesday (30Mar16). "I actually liked his film. Thanks bro (sic)."
D'Angelo has since apologised for documenting his private conversation with Nick, who has vowed to deal with the situation "in a private manner".
He has yet to address the status of his relationship with Iggy, but she hinted at plans to dump Nick if there is any proof of his indiscretion.
After a Twitter user claimed to have video evidence of the encounter late on Wednesday, Iggy responded, "If there's proof of cheating, she'd be doing me a favor to post it actually. I'm not tryna marry a cheater (sic)."
Despite her love life hanging in the balance, the Fancy hitmaker is trying to stay focused - her new promo for Team was released on Thursday (31Mar16).
The video debuted on Vevo.com and fans were quick to praise the rapper for the dance-filled footage - even though she hadn't alerted followers to the release.
"Sorry guys, the one morning i sleep in and #TEAM video drops!" she posted. "hahaha".
Iggy, 25, became engaged to Nick on his 30th birthday in June (15), and she previously revealed they had decided to postpone their wedding plans until after her upcoming tour.
Ironically, she recently defended her man against allegations of infidelity.
"Hey, that's part of being a basketball player. There's always something," she said on America's 92.3 AMP Radio's Shoboy In the Morning. "I believe my man, and Nick is a super nice guy. It's just not really the kind of thing he would do."
