Mencap, the learning disability charity, is proud to confirm Jake Bugg and David Gray as headliners for the return of the Little Noise Sessions at Union Chapel, Islington, on 22nd and 23rd October.
Tickets to see two of today's best British male solo artists in a unique and intimate setting, priced £37.50, go on sale Friday 3rd October at 9am from the Mencap Little Noise Sessions website.
Wednesday 22nd sees the youthful Jake Bugg top the bill of Little Noise Sessions. Bugg may be relatively new to the game but a legion of fans flock to his live shows, as demonstrated by his upcoming sold out dates at Alexandra Palace. The second of our leading men to step up to the mic will be David Gray on Thursday 23rd. A multi-platinum selling artist, Gray's career spans 21 years and ten albums, his hits from "This Year's Love" and "Babylon" through to "Back In The World" and "Birds of The High Arctic" are much-loved singer-songwriter classics.
Curated by Broadcaster and Mencap ambassador, Jo Whiley, Mencap's Little Noise Sessions brings together the biggest and best musical talent in one of London's most spellbinding venues, Union Chapel.
Mencap ambassador and DJ Jo Whiley says "Mencap Little Noise Sessions are so special to me. As well as an opportunity to see big acts usually reserved for arenas in an intimate venue, the money raised helps Mencap provide vital services for people with a learning disability, their families and carers.
"This is an issue close to my heart and I can't thank the artists enough for giving people a chance to share their love of music whilst highlighting the issues faced every day by people with a learning disability - by supporting Little Noise, you really are changing lives."
