Jake Bugg has expressed his disinterest in The Libertines' recent reunion, asking, "Are they running out of money?"
The band split back in 2004, briefly reuniting to headline Reading and Leeds in 2010. Last month, they reunited once again for a huge comeback gig in Hyde Park, and have since played a smattering of other shows.
Asked how he felt about the reunion in an interview with NME, Bugg said: "How many times have they reformed? Are they running out of money?" He added: "I think there's a couple of songs that are actually pretty decent, but I'm not a huge fan."
The singer, who released his second album Shangri La last year, also gave his opinion on the possibility of Oasis reforming for Glastonbury next year. "I was an Oasis fan," he said. "I'm not too bothered about seeing them, you know? I'd have liked to see them in 1995, but not now." Given that he was 1 year old in 1995, we're not sure he would have really appreciated it.
