She said to Us Weekly: 'My wife, Lara, read it aloud while we were vacationing this year. We laughed ourselves silly!'
Another book she enjoyed is The World According to Garp by John Irving.
Lynch said: 'I read it first when I was 18, and I laughed aloud reading a book for the first time in my life.'
Speaking of the book John Adams by David McCullough, she added: 'The relationship between his exceptional wife and 'dear friend' Abigail is beautifully written. I cried for him when she died.'
