JANE'S ADDICTION's reunion has not been "all smooches and hugs", singer Perry Farrell revealed today.
The frontman said he even had to ask Nine Inch Nails vocalist Trent Reznor to step in an moderate the arguments between the band members, but without much success.
Farrell said: "If my band didn't have issues, if they didn't throw tantrums, I would think I was with a bunch of suckers. As long as they can handle it, I can handle it.
"After all, we're just delivering music that people love, so how band can it be? It could be worse. We could be drafted."
Jane's Addiction are preparing for a co-headlining tour with Nine Inch Nails, their first full set of dates in 18 years.
Bassist Eric Avery has also rejoined the band for the first time after declining requests to reunite since 1991.
Farrell said: "I just talked to Eric man-to-man. We're different people, that's okay.
"I'm overjoyed that we're working together. I don't care that we butt heads as long as when we hit the stage we blast on people."
Jane's Addiction begin their tour on May 8 in Florida but will head to Scotland to play this year's T in the Park festival on Saturday July 8th
