Jason Derulo first act to confirm Jingle Bell Ball

The countdown to Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola has begun, as it was revealed this morning that Jason Derulo is the first act confirmed for night one on Saturday 5th December at London's O2 Arena.

The platinum singer songwriter whose smash hit 'Want To Want Me' topped the Vodafone Big Top 40 for four consecutive weeks, will fly into London to perform at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball in front of more than 16,000 hit music fans.

Jason was on the Capital Breakfast Show as Dave Berry & Lisa Snowdon launched the big reveal week for Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Coca-Cola. Talking about the event he said: "I've got a special feeling about this year man, it's going to be epic! Capital always just pick the biggest artists in the world and it ends up being a night to remember, every single time!" Jason also gave some big hints about other artists on the bill. Tomorrow (Tuesday) from 7am, Capital Breakfast continues the big reveal week ahead of tickets going on sale on Friday 6th November at 8am at capitalfm.com/jinglebellball. Capital VIPs have access to the first tickets in the pre-sale, from Thursday November 5th at 10am, and Coca-Cola fans can get early access to tickets through Coca-Cola's Facebook and Twitter pages.

Now in its eighth year, Capital's Jingle Bell Ball is always a sell-out event. Last year, more than 30,000 fans flocked to London's O2 Arena to see performances from global stars including Taylor Swift, 5 Seconds of Summer, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Take That and Jessie J.
