The 30-year-old actor has appeared in top comedies such as I Love You, Man, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Knocked Up, and is considered one of America’s biggest comic talents.
Despite experiencing such huge success, Jason is surprisingly modest, and insists he isn’t actually particularly talented. The actor thinks he’s simply managed to convince himself he has acting skills to gain the courage to go to auditions.
“I don’t think I’m the best at anything. Uh...maybe convincing myself that I’m good,” he replied when asked by Empire magazine what his greatest skill is.
Jason feels it’s important for actors to have high self-esteem, although he’s aware he shouldn’t be cocky and must remain aware of his weaknesses. The humble star would even go so far as to sum up his career as being “an exercise in undeserved self-confidence”.
