The British singer, 30, has had success with his own tracks in the US and said the Pass Out star could also do well in the States.
He said to UK newspaper Daily Star: 'Me and Tinie have seen each other at a number of events in the States and I'm very happy to see his success.
'The thing with America is not just about having one song, it's about putting out new music consistently and getting consistently played on radio.'
He added: 'I've got three songs out - Hit The Lights with Lil Wayne, which is pop, a beautiful ballad called Where Do We Go and Like This Like That, which is an urban joint.
'What I'm trying to do is give fans all the different sids of me so when the album comes out people know what to expect.'
