British rapper Jay Sean will be the first person to ring the Nasdaq closing bell for 2011 at the end of trading on Monday.
The singer who had a number 1 UK hit with 'Down' and top 10 hits in Australia with 'Down' and 'Do You Remember' will grace the Nasdaq floor at Times Square at 3:50pm Monday January 3, 2010 and shut down the days trading at 4pm.
This puts Jay Sean into early action as he prepares for the release of his 4th album 'Freeze Time' in February.
'Freeze Time' once again teams him up with his Cash Money buddy Lil Wayne and features Rihanna, Akon, Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Tisdale, Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige and Pitbull.
The album is expected on February 22.
