A new Jeff Beck album will be out in the spring according to his official website.
Beck recently finished a tour with Brian Wilson along with former Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks and took a short time off before returning to the studio to record his 17th solo studio album. At this point, he isn't saying too much about the project other than he is working with his new band Rhonda Smith (Bass), Nicholas Meier (Guitar), Jonathan Joseph (Drums) and Lizzie Ball (Violin).
Beck's last album, 2010's Emotion and Commotion, was slightly delayed when he cut off the tip of his left index finger while slicing carrots. Luckily, surgeons were able to repair the finger and you could never tell there was a problem from the way the guitarist played. Emotion and Commotion went on to be Beck's highest charting studio album since 1975's Blow by Blow, reaching number 11 on the charts. In the U.K., it was his highest charting solo album ever.
