Jessie J thinks Rita Ora "brings a different flavour" to The Voice UK than when she was on the show.
The Bang Bang singer was a coach on the talent show for the first two seasons. Last year she was replaced by Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue, but touring commitments meant she couldn't return for the current fourth season and so Radioactive singer Rita picked up the mantel. And for Jessie, the 24-year-old is bringing her own unique take to the show than when she sat in the spinning red chair.
"Rita looks wicked, she brings a different flavour. I want to see her coach because that was the biggest thing that I enjoyed doing," she told British newspaper The Mirror. "I saw Rita at the Jingle Bell Ball and I told her just to be honest with them."
While the 26-year-old decided to leave to focus on her music career and building up her profile in America, she admits that she does still try and watch the show when she can. But instead of just enjoying the viewing experience, Jessie can't resist talking to the screen and giving her opinion.
"I did get to see it in the New Year when I was at my mum's. Even off the show, I still feel like I'm a coach," she admitted. "I talk to the TV like I am still there, disagreeing or agreeing and wishing they would turn round."
Jessie is currently promoting new single Masterpiece. But thankfully she doesn't get lonely on the road as she has boyfriend Luke Jordan by her side.
"He's amazing, he's the best boyfriend ever and incredibly talented," she gushed. "It's a lovely feeling listening to him perform while I am getting ready. It makes me feel really relaxed."
