Pub rock icon Jimmy Barnes has appeared on a house track by DJ Yaleidys covering Dragon's 'April Sun In Cuba'.
The tune, dubbed 'Sun In Cuba', is a latin house club track by DJ Yaleidys, who previously worked with Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 on a cover of INXS's 'Original Sin'.
This time the hook is brought to you by the Cold Chisel legend Jimmy Barnes, singing the chorus from Dragon's Oz rock classic 'April Sun In Cuba'.
The song has reportedly hit the US Billboard Dance Charts (mentioned at number 3, number 31, and nowhere to be seen on the official Top 25 this week).
The Age reports that the collaboration was overseen by INXS manager Chris Murphy, who was an early agent for Chisel.
Murphy told the newspaper, "It is hard, some say harder to break into US dance charts than the pop charts, due to every heavyweight star in the world wanting a dance/club chart hit these days. Just ask Coldplay.
"To see both artists collaborate together on Sun In Cuba and have so much fun is a pleasure for me."
Well, here it is.
