John Travolta is having daily therapy sessions to cope with his son's death.
The 'Pulp Fiction' star - whose eldest child Jett, 16, died after suffering a seizure during a holiday to the Bahamas in January - is taking religious counselling with his family to help them work through the tragedy.
John – who along with wife Kelly Preston is a follower of sci-fi cult Scientology - said: "We've been working very hard every day as a family to heal.
"We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping."
Kelly added: "The outpouring of love from, really, worldwide has been extraordinary. It's been our friends, our family, our church.
"We partake in spiritual counselling pretty much daily."
John, 55, and 47-year-old Kelly – who also have nine-year-old daughter Ella – have avoided the spotlight since Jett's death but admit they have relied heavily on the support of friends.
Kelly added: "It's a tricky thing. Sometimes, something that's right for the moment is not right the next day.
"Being with people who are important to you, being with people that you love, I think that's what has primarily helped us the most. Sometimes, being alone, too."
