Collins then went on to talk about a number of pictures that she had attached to the original note.
Collins has been an important part of Mitchell's career. Collins was instrumental in getting Mitchell invited to the 1967 Newport Folk Festival and introduced her short set that was met with enthusiasm from the audience. Collins would go on to have the biggest hit of her career with Mitchell's Both Sides Now (1968 / #8) and would also record other song by Joni including Michael From Mountains and Chelsea Morning.
Mitchell suffered an aneurysm earlier this year and has been recovering ever since.
