The video for Kanye West's new single 'All Of The Lights' is no longer available on YouTube following fears it could cause epileptic seizures.
The video, unveiled last weekend, prompted complaints that it did not contain a risk warning despite its extensive use of flashing lights.
The video now appears to have been removed from the video-sharing website and replaced with the message: “This video is not available.”
A YouTube spokesperson was not available for comment when contacted by Gigwise.
Earlier this wee, Epilepsy Action, which represents the 456,000 with epilepsy in the UK, said tests on the video found that it contained flashes at a rate high enough to affect people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Under current Ofcom regulations, the video should not be broadcast on TV in the UK but those guidelines do not exist online.
Aimee Gee, PR and campaigns manager at Epilepsy Action, told the Press Association: "We are deeply concerned that this video may be harmful to some people with photosensitive epilepsy.”
The organisation said it had contacted West's agent and YouTube asking for the video to be removed.
