West's verses may not be far from the truth -- with 500,000 copies of "Watch the Throne" projected to sell in its first week, two songs ("Otis," "Ni**as in Paris") climbing the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and now the music video debut of their single, "Otis."
A day after releasing a sneak peak, Kanye and Jay-Z release the Spike Jonze-directed visuals for their single, "Otis," off their acclaimed collaborative album. The clip shows the dynamic between The Throne: Jay and 'Ye, comedian Aziz Ansari and a few ladies take ride around in their Maybach.
'Watch the Throne' Now Projected to Top 500,000 in First Week
Only three weeks on the chart, "Otis" holds the No. 11 spot on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, debuting on the chart at No. 15. Another track, off 'Watch the Throne, titled, "Ni**as in Paris," debuts on R&B/Hip-hop Songs this week at No. 99. "Luxury rap," as Kanye calls their rhymes on "Otis," hold power on the charts. Although not charting on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Kanye West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" climbs five spots while Jay-Z's "Hits Collection: Vol. One" climbs 16 spots to No. 48.
